Pizza + Prairie = Perfect Summer
Come to the prairie at the Wallace Farm on Friday nights during the summer for from-scratch brick oven pizza packed with straight-from-the-farm veggies & local meats! House-made sides, desserts and a signature drink are all crafted from the garden produce harvested just steps away from the kitchen. Beer, wine and soft drinks available, too. Live music from 5:30 to 9 pm (5 to 8:30 pm in September). There’s plenty of room for yard games; bring your own or borrow ours. Walk the prairie path and enjoy the outdoor art along the way: 5 permanent sculptures + the temporary Prairie Art exhibit. Seating is limited, so bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.
Reservations are required for this award-winning event and will gradually open throughout the season.
Our facilities are not food allergen or gluten-free. Our staff will do our best to prevent cross-contamination. Please be aware our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, or peanuts.
Know Before You Go
This handy Things to Know list can be forwarded to others in your group or printed.
Reservations/Tickets: Reservations available 5 pm – 7:30 pm (starting 4:45 pm in September). Come early and stay late! Each adult (age 18+) must reserve a ticket for a specific pizza ordering time. If tickets are sold out, check back as cancellations often occur during the week. Call 641.337.5019 or email Amy to get on the wait list.
Deposit: No deposit is required at this time. Please understand that we release a limited number of tickets each week so no-shows greatly impact our event and nonprofit operations.
Cancellations: Please let us know if you need to cancel for any reason by emailing Amy so we can accommodate someone on the wait list.
Group Reservations: Group reservations are available for groups of more than 10 people. A $100 deposit is required to reserve ordering times for groups of this size. If 90% (rounded up to number of people) or more of your group attends, $90 of your deposit will be refunded. If 50-89% attends, you will receive a $50 deposit refund. If less than 50% of your group attends, no portion of your deposit will be refunded. We are not able to make any changes to your group reservation within two weeks of the event. Cancellations made two weeks or more in advance of the event will receive a $90 deposit refund. We do not offer group reservations for groups of 10 or less. To make a group reservation, please email Amy.
Directions:

A server will deliver your food and drinks. Sorry, no coolers, outside food or drink permitted. In an effort to reduce single-use plastics, bring your reusable water bottle and fill for free at our water cooler. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.
Seating: Limited picnic tables are available first come, first served. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Shade is limited. Pop up tents should be erected at the edges of the lawn to not block views.
Weather: In case of rain, orders can be made to go. There is limited inside seating.

Pets: No pets except for service animals. Leashed dogs are typically welcome at the Wallace Farm outside of special events like Pizza on the Prairie.
